O’Ptit Bahut is a charming, family owned wine bar with regional cheese and charcuterie plates from all over France. It’s small and cozy, in the Saint Pierre district, and can be booked in advance online. Mattieu and Audrey are wonderful hosts! Can book tables online.
CaveY just opened up at the end of 2022 in Saint Michel across from Abby Saint Croix and is a stylishly designed wine bar. Cheese plates and different meats on offer. Many classics from the Bordeaux area and a nice space indoors or outdoors to enjoy. Wines start around 6 EURO a glass.
Le Sobre Chartrons is a newer wine bar, with a good energy inside it’s open and library-esque space. Wine wonderful Bordeaux references (in addition to other regions), it’s a fun space to meet with friends or after work. They have terrace space for summer months, which is also a bonus. Educational Wine Bars in Bordeaux
The Ecole du Vin has a wine bar, appropriately named ‘Bar a Vin‘ near the Bordeaux Tourism Office. They offer very reasonably priced glasses of Bordeaux wines, starting at 2 EURO a glass. A great way discover the difference between an Entre-Deux-Mers and a white Pessac-Leognan. They also offer cheese and charcuterie to accompany.
