My SO and I were out a few weeks back and I had ordered a mojito. There, sitting in my drink was a healthy looking sprig of mint. My SO jokingly said “It’s dead and in alcohol, it can’t be saved!” To which I replied “Challenge accepted!”
I took out the sprig, rinsed it in my glass of water and then wrapped it in a wet napkin. When we got home I put it in a glass of water with a little bit of rooting hormone and let it be. 8 days later it had a healthy set of roots and I planted it. 6 days after planting it had grown about an inch and had multiple new leaves. BAM! Mint can grow in just about anything and survive a lot of things. We’ll continue to see how this one progresses but I think its safe to call it good!
