If you are interested in getting your Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) designation, now may be the time to do it. Temporarily, due to concerns related to COVID-19, the Scrum Alliance and certified training providers are allowing these classes to be taken online.

If you are like me and you live in a more remote area, you don’t have any interest in shelling out the money for a class, traveling to the location, and paying for a hotel. It has been the only reason that I haven’t bothered to pursue the CSM – the hassle wasn’t worth it.

Now, I am scheduled to take my CSM class on April 11th through KnowledgeHut. You can register through KnowledgeHut, or find additional online training providers at the ScrumAlliance.

The CSM and the CSPO are not the only traditionally in-person courses to be made available online. Many providers have recognized the need for training to continue during these unprecedented times in our world and are trying to adapt. You can check out some online offerings on Scaled Agile (SAFe), or ICAgile.
