2015 SFFIn this episode of Forgotten Flix, Joel, Peter, Darrell and special guest co-host Heath, are remembering Spaced Invaders (1990)!

Synopsis: We’re moving from the city back to the country. But we’re keeping it in the comedy/horror vein. Okay, okay. I can hear you.

Tonight’s putrid tale isn’t really horror at all, but it does take place on All Hallow’s Eve.

Yes, it’s Halloween night and the local radio station is re-airing Orson Welles classic radio play of The War of the Worlds.

When it originally aired in 193?, this famous hoax created real wide-spread panic among the masses.

This time around the broadcast is picked up by inept alien invaders. These wannabe conquerers believe the broadcast is real and that their kind is succeeding in taking over Earth.

They could have realized the truth a lot sooner. That is, of course, if they weren’t such Spaced Invaders.
