I would really need to see a solar panels that rise and lower up on the roof of the van so you can recharge the batteries when needed, this is a must for those of us that will need to go more miles than a couple of hundred miles, then this will be perfect 🙂

It’s a great idea to use a 85k battery , for the electrical needs of the camper ac, . I drive a tesla model S . & it seems like a charge battery could power for a few days off grid.

125 miles, then wait 45 minutes? That’s going to take a LONG time to get to Florida for a family vacation.
45 minutes to charge is pretty good compared to a couple years ago. Teslas do what…400 miles w 15 minute charging. Give or take. I have to agree with you on the current specs not to good for long road trips.
How do you sleep in hot temperatures in the van? How would you run the air conditioning without running the motor? How much battery life would that take?

I am looking at a van for camping. Kinda disappointed that they chose the Ford. 125 miles, that’s way too short. 250 to 350 miles would work better, I want to explore America. Being a Network Engineer, I would like a feature to be able to stack a yeti or some other 3rd party battery array to top off the vehicle array to be able to go further or at least power the inside of the van and save the vehicle battery for more miles. Where is my drone that is paired with the vehicle that is set to loiter and hover over as I drive and give me feed back on the environment around me?
