Welcome to Here Come The Girls with author of Girls’ Night In, Hannah Read-Baldrey! This is the place to plan your perfect girly hen night in. In this episode we show you how to make some very pretty invitations for your party. Check out our channel page and subscribe: http://www.youtube.com/user/MyWeddingScrapbook Like us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MyWeddingScrapbook Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/MWScrapbook You will need: – 5x4cm plain coloured paper, for the top – 15x6cm patterned scrapbook paper, for the skirt – A4 sheet of card (or ready-made plain cards) – Glue Instructions: Using the template on page 176 of Girls’ Night In if you have a copy, cut out the girl’s top and fold in half. Alternatively, guess your own shape. Make the skirt by folding the length of patterned paper at 1cm intervals to create a fan. To construct, fold the sheet of A4 card in half. Draw a pair of legs, one either side of the fold. Place the girl’s top at the top of the card, lining up the central fold with card fold. Position the fanned skirt underneath the bottom of the top, pinching the skirt at the waist to create an A-line. Once you are happy with the positioning, glue down both sides of the skirt and then the top. Write your message on the back.
