Publicly traded video game stocks had another fairly tame week, with the notable exception of GameStop (GME).

Each week we track 8 companies closely tied to console-based video games to see how they are performing: 3 publishers, 3 console makers, 1 retailer, and 1 esports ETF.

Weekly performance is measured from the closing price of a stock on Friday of the prior week (the markets are closed on weekends) compared to it’s closing price this week.

As you can see, GameStop (GME) continued its wild ride nearly doubling this week with an upward move of 92% while the rest of the video game companies we track saw much more tame moves ranging from -3.7% (Nintendo) to +1.8% (Microsoft).
