There has been a great change at Agile-Mercurial! We are change makers, right? We aim to escalate to higher levels, and to do so it almost always requires a change in some way. Today that change is coming to fruition, and it should be a good one for all of you project management and Agile lovers out there.
It has been a long time since I (Joshua Render) have sat down to write for this blog. Over the past two years I have gained a new daughter, gotten a new job, and picked up a few more certifications. Through that, COVID-19 has certainly impacted my life (my entire family was afflicted with the illness). Life has been busy, as it usually is for all of us.
As I move forward with Agile-Mercurial, I am exploring new ways to bring fresh and interesting perspectives. In the spirit of that Idea, I would like to introduce Pedro Faria. Pedro is the CEO of Track on Performance, a company that provides a new, simple, and unique method of handling your projects and indeed your entire portfolio.
We are now a team. Pedro and I are working on creating some collaborative articles, as well as some new solo contributions. How that will look over the next year is still being worked out, you could say it is a bit of an iterative project and an ongoing evolution. We will be bringing our individual and unique perspectives to the table – with my background in software engineering, Robotic Processing Automation, and manufacturing; and his background leading a startup company from conception to release, along with his drive to make managing projects intuitive. You can’t be more cross-functional than that and we promise there will be many challenges and learning opportunities to come for all of us.
Different perspectives build greater futures when they bind to each other, and contribute to the overall end product. We expect that this will make our blog more interesting and provide a greater value for the readers.
