Hi Alex and Emma Great day Great Trip great way to start the day ok Here are a few pro tips for you #1 Get a few Rocks to Level the van those are FREE #2 DO NOT BUY WOOD ITS FREE JUST GO TO THE WOODS AND GRAB WHAT EVER IS ON THE GROUND #3 Do NOT PAY FOR WATER ITS FREE I’ve been doing Van life for over 40 yrs and Love it
White Sands is also a fun trip if you’re into sand dunes. It’s like visiting another planet. You can rent boards at the entrance.

I thought this was a very fun video of a day in your van life! For many months I contemplated van life weighing out the pros like a new view every few days and no time schedule except what I absolutely wanted to do. But the cons of searching for a place to sleep all the time coupled with the cost of gas definitely tempered my thoughts but I think what cemented that van life was not for me was all your mouse and fly battles!! Truly you are troopers to go through all that with your humor intact!

Good morning from southern Arizona: We LOVE your programs and have started a DYI van build ourselves, Have watched your UK build several times and have 2 questions for you… First is on the sidewalls in the back walls of the van how thick of plywood did you use? And second you said you had to make a mod to the one section of the center part to bed to lift it up from the original design, I am going to make our bed the same way you did and would like to know the change you made 🙂. Hi from Australia. Any chance Alex gets to drop his pants and he’s in. Love your work. This van seem quite good. Ps. Your fridge says gas/electric on the from. Should work on gas. Plus you should put some cleaning solution in your water tank and run the shower to clean the pipes.
Can you explain the “beans” thing- why people in the UK call people that? I’ve heard others do it and I don’t know what it comes from?
We usually forget to push the locks on our drawers so we take it in turns to take the blame regardless of who actually did it. Invariably we hear the crash the second we get on the freeway no matter how long and how bumpy the roads we’ve already driven on are.
Do not forget to get your camper van serviced overhaul!
