little tip when you peak a corner hold your gun strait up not slanted as the hop up was sending your bbs yonks away from where you are aiming
I find airsoft to be harder. Mainly cause you cant do “next bunker” as in paintball the, distances on my field are greater. If playing airoft on a paintballfield, then it would be easier. In the woods range is also greater and i am a cqb player by sight.
Airsoft is a conflicting sport. Dont make headshots yet the head is only surface avaliable when duelling. Dont blindfire yet grenades are allowed. Supressive fire, holding a lane, is it allowed or not or do you need a dmr or minigun to be allowed for that. How many cm or oz exactly is the pistol distance. To many joule rules allowed etc
As far as headshots I laugh them off. Personally if someone headshots me it’s either a thumbs up or “Good shit”

It depends. Are you playing against speed ballers or playing against vintage marker players I’ve had some massive bruises and broken skin from vintage markers

I’m glad you were open to the different style airsoft has. I used to play PB as a youngster, but it seems like airsoft is taking over the scene. My guess is there is a lower cost of ownership (bb’s are cheaper and come in greater numbers for the $$$), as well as easier user experience as opposed to all the nuances with a CO2 PB marker. Anywho, as an airsofter, I can say I truly enjoy all your content, and it is my personal opinion that PAINTBALL HURTS MORE, especially if the ball doesn’t break when it hits! O_O
I’ve never played, but in my opinion, and rudimentary understanding of ballistics paint ball will hurt more in general because it’s a bigger projectile and needs more propellant, whereas airsoft uses a smaller projectile and depending on the manner of propellant can puncture skin and become embedded which can be more ouch
I played a few paintball games before I jumped to airsoft. It was all good until I got lit up by a.. slightly overzealous speedballer. I had a line of bruises down my arm and across my chest and of course had paint splash all up into my mask because it hit my tank too. Yes, airsoft can have some painful hits like off the knuckles or forehead but in 2 years haven’t had anything match the damage of that speedballer. Regarding the seeing the bbs comment too, it comes with practice as always. I’ve played enough that I’m able to see my shots out at 150-200ft (maybe 30-40% of the time to be fair), but mostly it comes in handy for dodging snipers!
