That Boutique-y Rum Company Collaboration with Trailer Happiness

s no surprise that the on trade has had it tough for the last 18 months. Closures, lockdowns, Reduced capacity and unfortunately for rum bar trailer happiness they can add flooding to that list.

Just when everything opened and was getting back to normal, flash floods caused the bar to temporarily shut their doors again.

To help them get their doors back open That Boutique-y Rum Company have announced an upcoming partnership with Trailer Happiness that will see the independent bottlers release a new Foursquare bottling in collaboration with the well-loved London bar.

The bespoke bottling, a 10 Year Old Foursquare matured in both ex-bourbon and ex-sauternes cask, will be sold exclusively through Master of Malt, with Atom Supplies (parent company to both TBRC and Master of Malt) donating 80% of the profit from all sales to Trailer Happiness.

The collaboration was planned for later this year but after recent events TBRC decided to bring forward the release in order to support the bar.

Profits from the sales of the bottle will go some way in helping the rebuilding, but the bar have also set up a Go Fund Me page to raise funds and have already had an overwhelming response to theirefforts.

Pete Holland, Global Brand Ambassador for TBRC, said of the importance of supporting the bar;

“So many personalities of the bar world have benefited from their time at Trailer, either behind the stick, or as a part of the culture of fun and education that it has become known for. A starting point

for so many over the years, and incidentally Richard Seale [Foursquare Distillery] told me that Trailer was the first place he ever conducted a masterclass, so there’s a nice symmetry in that; And I’m 100%

sure he’s not alone in this – it’s an iconic location that means so much to so many people. My love for Trailer Happiness goes back a long time – from first going in 2008 for cocktails and flights of Rums, to the first ever Rum Club event I attended in January 2009. My Rum life.”
