New research and product innovation by a handful of scientists and one marijuana nutrients company gives you the opportunity to use LED grow lights in high-intensity grow rooms to get more grams of harvest weight per watt of energy used, and more cannabinoids and terpenoids too.
The thing most growers don’t realize is when you pour huge amounts of photosynthetic photon flux density (PPFD) onto cannabis plants, you must adjust your nutrients program, grow op temperature, VPD, watering, C02 and other factors to match the hungrier plants you’re creating.
When you’ve created ideal conditions and provided appropriate inputs, high-PPFD LED growing gives you the most THC, terps, and harvest weight per unit of electricity of any growing regimen.
Until now, nobody has made marijuana nutrients good enough to maximize high-intensity LED marijuana growing.
The good news is one marijuana nutrients company has now built you a new, simple, easy, supercharged feed program specifically designed for professional, serious growers.
The company is TPS. We’ve written about them before because out of dozens of nutrients companies, they’ve got superior products and ethics.
One of their first major achievements was to create a complete-feed all-season base called One.
Most growers who tried one-part bases before TPS One came along loved the effortlessness of using a one-part base, but their plants had performance problems.
Then came TPS One, a solo base that can be used all by itself from seed/clone to harvest without any additives.
It can also be used with TPS additives such as Signal (a resin booster) and Billions, the only beneficial root microbes product we ever tested that actually worked.
About three years ago, TPS scientists realized that growers would benefit from a customized base nutrients program that went beyond merely tweaking One with minor adjustments.
They kept hearing about nutrients processing, design, and chemistry concepts nobody else was testing, but which had the potential to supercharge base nutrients to make them more productive and cost-effective.
They started internal lab testing to fully understand adjustments to potassium, calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus.
The ratios, types, and amounts of these nutrients elements in traditional marijuana nutrients have always been a problem for growers and plants.
TPS saw that many brands were overdosing phosphorus, which has a tendency to bind with micronutrients and make them unavailable for root uptake.
Another thing they discovered is “luxury phosphorus,” the fact that other fertilizer brands overdose phosphorus in bases and in bloom boosters.
The phosphorus stores at excessive rates in plant tissues, not utilized for anything beneficial, creating radioactivity and other problems.
TPS scientists also discovered new data about the benefits of amino acids and trace minerals not found in the proper configuration or amount in other nutrients brands, or not found at all.
They also created new and better way to create nutrients bases by processing with orthosilicic acid instead of water.
Not only does this lead to more precise nutrients elements extraction, it also achieves another major benefit—delivering silicon to your plants.
Plants are composed of at least 10% dry weight silica, except that silica is missing from most hydroponics nutrients and other fertilizers. It’s also missing from inert root zone media and from water culture hydroponics.
Adding the right type of silica to a feed program, as TPS has done with its new Ultra Grow and Ultra Bloom, boosts plant resilience, fights drought, heat stress, heavy metals, root zone toxicity, pests that suck leaves, and molds and mildews.
After the extensive research, design and internal testing program that produced Ultra bases, TPS sent the new products out to beta testers who grow in all types of conditions, systems, and environments. These are all serious growers who carefully document every facet of their crop cycle as they monitor results.
Typical of the reaction to Ultra One is this statement from a grower who has five 20-light professional grow rooms:
“I just finished my fifth round of testing Ultra. In many years of growing, these Ultra tests gave me my best results ever.”
TPS told me that Ultra is absolutely incredible in coco and peat and works well in all other types of grow op systems and root media.
The original One is still available; growers using amended soil say it’s the only base nutrients product that ever worked for them.
Ultra is concentrated and is the most cost-effective, easily-absorbed, modern-science innovative of any nutrients product on the market.
Another plus is that TPS is a grower-centered, grower-run company. They know growing better than any marijuana nutrients company tech support people we’ve talked to.
When we had so many problems with other nutrients companies and asked for help, they ignored us or gave us bad advice that hurt our plants.
TPS products are flawless, so problems aren’t caused by them, but when we’ve queried about leaf symptoms, feed rates, customized programs, TPS tech support has always been very timely and accurate. Their advice works and they’re very friendly people to network with.
Ultra Grow and Ultra Bloom are certain to give you your best cannabis growing outcomes ever, especially if you’re using a high-PPFD LED grow room. Once you’ve experienced the easy fun of using a one-part TPS base, you’ll never switch!
And in case you’re wondering, TPS doesn’t pay us or otherwise incentivize our rave reviews. As you know, we’re growers just like you—our job is to find the unicorn best products for you to use so you get massive harvests of fat, potent buds with the least amount of work, watering, and expenditure.
