If you’re in the Stoughton, WI area, swing by Three Gaits Stables for their “Nick’r Treat” event. You’ll find horses in costume (humans are encouraged to wear their own, too), crafts, hay rides, a scavenger hunt, bounce house, and more.
The event is on Sunday, Oct. 16 from 1:30 to 5:00 p.m. Admission is free, but Three Gaits is a nonprofit therapeutic horse riding school and would be a great organization to support, if you can. Every week, we stop by and pick up a load of manure to fuel our compost research project.
Find Three Gaits at 3741 State Road 138. And you can make an afternoon of it, picking pumpkins and apples at Eugster’s Market, just down the street.
Find out more on their Facebook post.
