Have you ever dreamed of cooking a meal on a wood-fired stove? Did you grow up reading Little House on the Prairie? Are you interested in cooking using locally-sourced, non-fossil fuels? Then sign up right away for the woodstove cooking workshop put on by Holin Kennen. The class runs June 19, from 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
You might know Holin as she is the master spinner that teaches our flax to linen workshops each spring (stay tuned for an announcement about that coming soon). She also cooks in her kitchen using a woodstove.
This is a chance to learn about a recent piece of home technology that could easily become more relevant in a future where fossil fuels are less abundant.
Head over to the Schumacher Farm website to sign up.
