Can someone pls help me on adjustment number 6 ..why is expense(Stationery) decreasing not increasing
Stationery is an expense and would decrease net profit. It’s the same as telephone.
As he mentioned that the statement of financial position is basically the accounting equation, net profit would be added on to equity therefore increasing net equity and this value is taken from the income statement and in the income statement you can see that profit decreases if there is an increase of expenses. I know it’s a long way to think about it and I hope it helps somehow
