Tennessee Whiskey conforms to all the rules of Bourbon, meaning it needs to be made from at least 51% corn. Unlike Bourbon, which can be made in any state, Tennessee Whiskey can unsurprisingly only be made in Tennessee and has to be filtered through sugar maple charcoal. This filtration process is something Daddy Rack does twice, ensuring an extra smooth whiskey. Daddy Rack is made from locally farmed corn, delivering a true taste of the American South and bringing to life the music halls of Nashville with every sip.
Daddy Rack is light golden amber in appearance, with notes of maple, honey, light oak and caramelised banana. A smooth and buttery mouthfeel, with flavours of roasted apple and banana, leading on to vanilla and a hint of nutmeg, the finish is rich and warm with subtle notes of salted popcorn.
It is perfect in a variety of simple serves to make at home, such as the “Rackhouse Lemonade” which sees 45ml Daddy Rack, 20ml Crème De Pêche, 15 ml lemon juice and 90ml lemon-lime soda all poured into an ice-filled Collins glass, the ultimate refresher in the Tennessee heat.

English Julep
– 60ml Daddy Rack
– 15ml elderflower cordial
– 10ml fresh lime juice
– 30ml sparkling wine
– A handful of mint leaves
In a julep cup, muddle the mint, lime and elderflower cordial, add daddy Rack Tennessee
Straight Whiskey and Sparkling Wine. Fill the Julep cup with crushed ice and stir until frosted.
Top with crushed ice and garnish with a mint sprig.
Rack House Punch
– 60ml Daddy Rack
– 30ml Pennington Peach Liqueur
– 30ml cold-brewed English tea
– 15ml fresh lemon juice
– 60ml soda water
Fill a shaker with ice cubes, add all the ingredients except the soda water, shake and strain into a Highball glass filled with ice cubes. Top up with soda water and garnish with a fresh
lemon slice.
Suffering Bastard
– 30ml Daddy Rack
– 30ml Mayfield Gin
– 15ml fresh lime juice
– 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
– Ginger Ale
Add all the ingredients except the ginger ale into a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a Collins glass filled with ice. Top with ginger ale and garnish with a mint sprig.
