  1. this has been the clearest video of how to paint furinture. preparing for my first project i appreciate it! thank yoUu!

    1. I don’t recommend using matte finish on furniture as it’s incredibly difficult to clean. If you’re going to do a matte finish I would use chalk finish paint and seal it with furniture wax.

    1. You could, yes, but I would probably use a paint sprayer to get the smoothest possible finish and also to save time.

  2. Does this method change if there’s already paint on the furniture? I’m trying to paint it a different color!

  3. Thank you we actually pented book selves and nest of tables with Matt paint . We had to do at least 2 coats. Wish we had done a gloss now. We waxed them but not made any difference. X

  4. What sources do you recommend for hardware? I love what you’ve used on the pieces shown at the end of the video.

    1. Thank you! I usually find some really cool hardware at Hobby Lobby. Anthropologie has beautiful options too but a little more pricey.

  5. Loved the tutorial. Thank you so much. I had never seen before that Murphy oil cleaner, where can I buy it please . I want to paint my mother’s rocking chair for my grandchild, it has a lot of round pieces, any tip to deal with the round parts? Thanks a lot!

    1. You should be able to find it on Amazon or at Home Depot. For the round parts I would probably use a short angled brush. Good luck!

  6. En francais on pourait comprendre pas lavpeine de faire des videos au qu’el on ne comprend rien et pour acheter les produit idem ou se les procurer qu’el sont t’il

  7. This was so helpful! How long do you wait for the top coat to cure if you used a polyurethane semi-gloss spray?
