  1. Thanks so much for sharing information. I am a Self- published Author of Children’s Books. Presently I intend to sell Ebooks online but do not know about digital marketing. I love traditional Marketing ! I am creating awareness about Ebooks through LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter handles. I have my Ebooks on Lulu Bookstores for few years but not sold any copies but cos I was unable to drive traffic.

  2. Thank you for talking about your experience and mentioning that a marketing degree isn’t necessary! I got my first digital marketing job via paid internship and no degree. And there’s so many resume boosting certificates online for free via Google skillshop, Hubspot, etc. The opportunity cost of going to college is huge because the 3-4 years of learning theory in school could mean hundreds of thousands of dollars in earning while you learn from those same 3-4 years of actual experience. Learn the language, network on linkedin. So much info out there and the best part is no college debt lol

  3. Thank you for these videos! I am about to wrap up my masters in English and asked someone from my church if they know any technical writing positions. Found out his company is looking to create a marketing director position next year and potentially want me to work part time for their marketing emails and media so when they have the position available, I can take it. Now I find myself here ready to learn!

  4. While the video is informative, I will have to disagree with the marketing degree. For me the degree was very valuable. Your opinion is very much focussed on the cost vs the benefit, but the cost of tuition in the US is just artificially high. If you look at other countries it might be a very good idea to look at a degree, just make sure it aligns with your ways of studying. I am a very practical learner, so I chose a university that also reflected that in their degree. Also, I want to mention that it is possible to do the free-time practical marketing you talked about outside of university, which then can help to get amazing internship opportunities.

  5. What happened today is that Marketing has uploaded with the 100 of types of stem , seo , sem ,smo etc ….but at the eod as an marketer the main goal is to generate the potential leads for business to get more sales

  6. Hey dude, great video! I had a CL65 type rating in my past as well. And now I’m interested in transitioning to the laptop lifestyle. (I dig that PRS / wall / lighting combination too!) Rock on, man!
