can this be applied to the NPO sector? I am currently working in the youth development field, and will be implementing several projects e.g. bootcamp and a leadership academy. Can PRINCE/ AGILE still be used or is it only for IT setting?
Zamah, the simple answer is yes. Agile canoe used (and is being used) in all sectors and for a range of project types. However, more common yet are hybrid approaches that combine valuable aspects of traditional predictive PM with adaptive Agile PM methods. These can be tailored to the specific needs of a project.
The original PRINCE2 methodology is purely predictive. But there is now a PRINCE2 Agile methodology and qualification.
