As Graphic Designers working with cool clients and collaborating with others is such a fulfilling experience, however, I think the most rewarding projects come out of your own imagination and passion. In this video, I dive into the importance of graphic design passion projects, my past poster design and album cover design series, and how they can help you find your graphic design personal style. 1. Sidenote; I see you working with a mouse and I really recommend getting a good wacom tablet. Ones you get used to it, you will never use a mouse to design again

  2. Hi, I just start my own project for clothing brand around august this year and i really proud of it evendo not many people want to buy or visit my clothing page but i really enjoy the process.🤟🏼 Love your video man!!🙌🏼

  3. I wish my corporate cube farm job left a little more creative energy for personal projects. After spending all day in adobe for someone else, it’s hard to open it and work for yourself :L

    1. Totally feel that, when I was working as an employee I was drained at the end of the day. Some days I felt like it and some days I didn’t, no shame in either🤘🏻

  4. Morning Jesse !! This channel is my new discovery, love the content you making, even discovered podcast in Spotify, and you are inspiring so many amateur designers, especially me 😀
I am very interesting in doing analog style posters. can you advice from your experience, what is the budget friendly printer for beginers , I do not even get what kind of differences are between them.

    1. @Jesse Nyberg Thanks for reply, as I guess the Epson scanner you got provides better quality than the 3in1 printer which has scanner as well ?
Love the books you have there, happy to see some of the ones I already have , I am on a right path I guess haha.

  5. Hi am a graphic designer in Ghana … am pretty good but I lack discipline … if I am not paid for a job I feel tired and keep procrastinating… pls what advice or how can I overcome this

  6. sick video ✌🏽im doing design work for a marketing agency and i do like it but i am always working within existing guidelines that the brands already have so it doesnt leave a ton of room to be creative. imma try and find some time to work on something just for me 😁

  7. I felt this a lot! As I’m working on finding my niche more and more, graphic design always felt more of a art medium instead of corporate design because of the fact that you can use it in multiple medium to make a point or to express thoughts, ideas, etc. I’ve always felt like designers at times are constantly under pressure to pump out corporate stuff solely instead of passion projects and being imaginative and creative.
