  1. A nice campervan, the advantage of this over my California Coast is the fifth seat for families with three young kids.

But the interior decor is very gloomy in this particular colour scheme, and I didn’t see any of the clever chair and table storage that VW does so well.

The big no no for me with Transit conversions is the 2.12m height, which compares with the 1.98m height of the Calis. This would rule out a lot of beach side car parks, multi storey car parks and the like with their 2m barriers.

    1. Thanks Andrew for sharing your thoughts on this model. Campervan height is always a concern and I’ve winced many times myself whilst getting a standard Caravelle under some car parks. I do like the 3 seat bench in our Caravelle but of course this comes at the cost of all the extras found in a California.
