With El Nido, the power depends on what place you are staying at. The more upscale places have back up generators. But yes, it is disappointing that a town like El Nido can’t seem to get its act together in terms of providing consistent electricity to its residents and businesses

Even famous falls in Cebu, the entrance with a guide is not that expensive. P750 is too much with no amenities available to use. Too bad, that place will not receive more visitors to promote their business.
Most of El Nido is actually built for Island Resorts like Cauayan, Lagen island resorts and much more. These are not in El Nido town since you need a boat ride to access these islands. These resorts have solar and back up generators for power. Its pricey but comfortable to stay. They offer island hopping and snorkeling. They also have swimming pools inside the island while surrounded by water. Iāve stayed in Cauayan resort and the villas on the beach. Coronās infrastructures are a tad better than El Nido and they have an airport with different airlines flying there unlike El Nido which has 1 commercial Airline on a private airport.
Ask the locals there if what it will take to add more access to all the 7 waterfalls and post it here. Maybe someone will help. Thanks for this amazing video. Love your favorite waterfall.
