I’m sorry, everyone knew about this storm way before it happened. The weather people said this was a storm rarely seen and that it would be bad. They expected what ? They should have just stayed home take the loss , and move on. I’m tired of the whining.
My military daughter trying to get here before her leave ends. She’s not coming for fun y vacation it’s a goodbye tour for her dying grandfather (cancer) . She misses it she’ll never see him again so no other chances. Not everyone was going on holiday. Next flight on another plane availability is the 31st so she’s stuck at base still trying to get to him y us. I’ve been helping give her advice to get other military (1 was on leave for his daughter surgery a premie baby) back to base or back to home to see family.
She was supposed to leave today we thought it not being Christmas or the day after would help.

Military Daughter got another airline only issue her ticket is all the way for a week away from her first ticket. Lots of military stuck from this from all branches. Pray for military y those visiting sick relatives y kids who have to travel due to custody agreements always saying other parent gets them for the holidays get to their destination then back home safe

A family friend got him a round trip ticket Seattle to Colorado $1,700.

My return flight and replacement flight both got canceled. Luckily I’m 25 and was able to rent a car. I only had to drive 6 hours to get home. I feel so bad for everyone else!
Should they fly into the killer blizzard and land into unsafe conditions if they make it that far? This is childish behavior. Weather doesn’t care about your vacation.
