How about something useful such as updating stuff that needs to go through an FTP server and deal with actual manual file updates?

I don’t see the same options on the left side bar.I don’t have “pages”, “appearance”, “plugins”, “users”, or “updates”. I want to be able to edit the website, but I have none of those options.

Hi Natasha! Site management practices such as automatic updates are enabled by default by WordPress. You can delay automatic updates by following these steps. Remember, with all major changes, please create a backup of your website before proceeding.
