  1. IMPORTANT NOTE: I’ve been getting alot of comments from people asking me if I expect them to buy and sell at the same price and not have any profit margin… Obviously Not! 1oz Gold Eagles are selling for anywhere from $200 to $250 OVER SPOT right now. There is a local shop near me that is paying over $100 ABOVE SPOT for 1oz Gold Eagles right now and selling them for $200 ABOVE SPOT… the margin is there because of the high premium on 1oz Gold Eagles currently.

    1. I have a local shop that does the same thing, I don’t get how those other places even stay in buisness to be honest!

    2. @mrBDeye I searched for a year for a raw gold buyer, coinshops would offer 50 percent of 80. Percent of market value, absolute robbery, private gold buyers tend to pay straight up 80 percent of market value

    3. @david strom wow. Gold is not a good investment after all. I will stay with real estate flipping and investments which is always a gain.

  2. The teachings on this channel are always top notch so informative and easy to understand, it’s very hard to find good content online these days

    1. He is a financial advisor and investor, he helps people to better understand the financial markets and he also does trading and investing on your behalf.

    2. I will also contact him, I have been having difficulties with trading, just realized I need professional help, thanks for the information

  3. Nobody wanted to buy my silver when the price was high, so I figured out right away that investing in silver or gold was pretty much a waste of money.

  4. Gold and coins in general are a terrible investment regardless of what so called experts are always saying.
You never get 100% of the actual value every gold and coin dealer always pays way less than there in buisness to make as much profit as possible.

    1. What about all the people that bought gold when it was less than $500? I have about 20 oz I purchased before gold even hit $1000.

  5. These people pay was too much! I pay $800/Oz for .9999 gold. If you need crack bad I pay $20/Oz for .9999 gold

  6. I got out of coin collecting because dealer wanted to offer me a low price for a high priced coin listed, 1913S $10 gold Indian it was listed at $1300, he offered firm $700!! He said the listings in the books they don’t go by, I was like wtf?? One big scam collecting society, change my mind!

  7. Why would anyone harass a shop just because they offered a low bid? You always have the option of taking or not taking an offer.

    1. @Silver Seeker I don’t have a problem with masking, but my question is why would anyone harass them if you didn’t? There is no moral obligation to give any offer over what they want to give. The seller always has the right to accept or reject any offer.

    2. @Matthew Huszarik  absolutely they do, and the buyer has the right to shop elsewhere for a better deal for themselves. These videos are about showing how important it is to shop around and to never accept the first offer.

I know shops have to make a living and pay bills, but some of the most successful ones I’ve ever seen are always also the most fair… why? Because people keep coming back.

My dad always told me it’s better to make a nickel off of someone 5 times than a dime off of them once.

  8. This is the problem with investing in precious metals cuz then when you try to resell some of them you now have to deal with absolute assholes trying to rip you off for money.

If you went to that same shop and went to go buy one of their coins in the case and you said hey I know that that coin is marked 1675 for that gold ounce but I’m going to give you 1575 or how about we negotiate to 98% of spot. It’s fucking stupid just give the people what the goddamn gold is worth. They already make money in the first place that’s their whole business. They still have to sneak in a couple extra hundred right at the sale

  9. I am a little confused, why would a shop pay 100% because they are there to make money not to make friends! I really dont know what spot means so if a reasonable person could reply I would appreciate it.
