  1. I have reluctantly flown on SW a few times and I have NEVER enjoyed the experience. The last time was a flight from Vegas to Denver in August 2021. Delays, misinformation, lots of running around trying to get another flight out, etc. I swore I would never fly with SW again, and this situation reconfirms my decision.

  2. CEO knew about the issue for years. They rather give executive bonuses then invest in their infrastructure software and staff

  3. Even if many flight has been canceled I am pretty sure they will refund your money back by law rent a car if you really need to get home and if you can go back and stay with friends loves one tell everything is wave out, I am sur e your job will not fire you. !!

  4. I would not try to travel, especially by plane in that kind of weather to go anywhere. Sometimes things aren’t meant to be.

This is bullshit, it didn’t have anything to do with the weather… It had to do with staffing, they treat their staff like crap, they were plenty of passengers sitting on planes but no flight attendants no crew… The vice president of south was sent an email to flight attendants and crew and staff that was brutally harsh, related to people calling in sick… I don’t know about you but I don’t want to be on an airplane with a sick flight attendant , breathing in the same year. Airline has had billions in profits and bail outs but they can’t hire enough staff, Southwest needs to treat their workers better and may be there won’t be sick outs

  6. I can bet you that the CEO was warned by the company’s IT department many years ago. He rather gave himself a big bonus than investing in their infrastructure. This is very common across most companies.

  7. Most airlines currently have cancellation rates in the single digits while Southwest is around 75%!!! It’s not a system-wide issue, it’s a SOUTHWEST ISSUE!
