  1. Thank you for speaking about this case Steve🙏 The government has a duty to be honest with the court when it applies for a warrant under the 4th Amendment. But the FBI lied about its intentions in claiming to only be interested in the property of the business and not the box holders.

    1. Yeah….
The company that provided the safe deposit boxes pled guilty to conspiracy to launder drug money and other assorted offenses. If you had a safe deposit box there it was reasonable to assume that possibly you might be somebody who was laundering drug money. This practice of laundry and drug money has taken many forms over the years most notably in the form of buying jewelry and art and such and storing them in privately owned facilities that provide safe deposit boxes. If however you are an innocent victim and had nothing to do with laundries, drug money or processing illegal profits from any “venture”,
then of course you would be entitled to all of your property, returned in its original condition along with an inventory signed in triplicate.
Your “Karen” lawyer should have advised you of this.
      …and I’m a layman.

  2. Looking for the Epstein files…McAfee files…??? Or maybe someone on a grassy nole…

Definitely not about the money folks…87 million is just a tiny droplet in the government people’s slush fund…dig deeper!

  3. The worst thing about this whole safe deposit box fiasco is the only reason we know so much about it is because it was so flagrantly illegal and corrupt that it couldn’t escape notice, and even then it took and not insignificant amount of working dedication from very hardworking people to uncover it. Just think how many similar operations have already occurred, both at the state and federal, and even local levels, which we don’t even know about.

  4. And what would it take if you were one of the people that had your things taken and all your stuff stored in the FBI database, what would it take for a leak to affect you? There’s been so many political leaks over the years and if you are running for office or if there’s some other political activism or other things you’re involved in that the FBI doesn’t like what would it take for them to turn a blind eye and let an agent leak your information to a journalist? All data and all their belongings need to be given back to them if they haven’t already. Anything should be destroyed on their Networks however, even that is never truly destroyed unless you physically destroy the drives that they data was on.

  5. The Government ripps you off, then makes it impossible for you to reclaim your property. This is the worst seizure possible. I have taken my stuff out of my safety deposit box and stored it elsewhere. Where it is is for them to find – if they ever could! This Government sucks big time, worse than it ever has in my living memory.
Steve, continue exposing the idiots with the ” I can do anything to you and get away with it” sickness. They are the underbottom of our society, muck feeding, sub human mongrels.

  6. I had no idea this story existed! Thank you for reporting this very interesting story! The feds and 3 letter agencies need to be transparent and held accountable when necessary!

  7. So the FBI can steal all cryptocurrencies based on the notion that many cryptocurrencies transactions are used for illegal purchases. Government overreach on steroids! This is a crazy story and thank you for reporting it.

  8. And people still have the audacity to say we are the freest country in the world. I don’t believe that for a minute.
