i second tajikistan, dushanbe, and will add almaty kazankstan where you can go snowboarding in the top of the mountains during the summer but when you get back into the city the temperature is in 90s. unbelievably beautiful city and country. not to mention the food, unlike anywhere in the world!!

The Dominican Republic is still my favorite place to travel. Why? They have all the best water sports, surfing, kitesurfing, fishing, diving, snorkeling, SUP, yachting. They also are the most reasonable. Food, beer, necessities are reasonably priced. Get out of Punta Cana and explore the rest of amazing DR!!
