Turmeric scientifically known as Curcuma longa – is a bright yellow spice used throughout Asia for centuries. Grown for its root, turmeric has an ancient history of uses in cooking, fabric dyeing, cosmetics and especially as a traditional medicine in China and India. Its use in conditions such as rheumatism, severe pain, fatigue, and breathing problems has been well documented for over “4,000 years”. Curcumin is a pigment found in turmeric that not only gives it it’s characteristic bright yellow hue, but also has a range of health benefits. These include antibacterial, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant effects. Because of these wide-ranging functions, turmeric has been studied in relation to arthritis, eye conditions, cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease and much more.

Any concerns about turmeric and oxalates, I heard that it was high in it?
Sorry but I can’t understand a word you’re saying.
Circumin shouldn’t be consumed by anemic patients cuz it inhibits the absorption of iron in the blood.

I seriously don’t know how to distinguish curcumin & turmeric.
Well, if I’m not wrong turmeric is the dried form of curcumin, I suppose. Also I believe that both of them are equally good for our health however may be raw turmeric i.e curcumin may’ve more potential values. Am’I right?🤔
Btw, turmeric also obviously comes from the root only. No doubt it comes out rather from over the plant.. right?
I feel this is like which has come first, I mean in evolution egg or chicken? – jokes apart on this particular aspect..🤔
@Anonymous I would say the seed came first, then rain, then growth of the plants.
There are aerial parts of the turmeric plant, but I am not sure if they are used for anything. The root is the prize. 🙂
@Oveneise So to say, you mean that the seed is the curcumin or what??
@Anonymous Curcumin is found within the root, it is simply a part of the roots constitution.
@Oveneise Alright..thks..👍
This is probably one of the most relatable channels I have come across recently. So much information was given out. Anyways, I also suggest that viewers should search Molemen Herbs on YouTube.. if there is anyone looking for natural holistic curative remedies to reverse and cure Genital Herpes & Diabetes permanently. I had an amazing healing encounter after using their products.
