  1. Congrats guys! You’ve done a great job. Have watched a number episodes and have been very impressed with your technical explanations and attention to detail. Great to see the finished product. Go and enjoy 😎👍

  2. Great video. Some questions please – they may sound ignorant but I’m new to this!

    1. Do you only get access to mobile data? How could you get WiFi on these vans? Surely to operate cameras you need more then tethering from your phone?

    2. I’ve seen some videos with motor homes that have TVs in them. How do they work? Can you get Sky on them?

    Thanks!

    1. Thanks. So the van has a 4G antenna on the roof that connects to a netgear router which gives us wifi in the van powered by the 4G signal. Really reliable and great for cameras or working. I know you can get motorhome 12v TVs but we just use a rechargeable projector which works well. Not sure about sky, I’ve seen some big motorhome with satellite dish but think you’d need full mains hookup to make that work.

  3. Looks great finally finished and some great tips… those electro magnets are a brilliant idea – thanks for sharing it all

  4. Love your van ! – the end result is amazing you must be very proud of it. Thanks for the extremely detailed videos – they have really helped me. I am planning my own L2 build and like you I’ve been through many different floor plans. I wonder if you could help me answer something that is bugging me? The load dimensions of the L2 are supposed to be 312cm but I’m worried that you don’t actually get that length. If I look at your videos I estimate from where the bulkhead would be to the other side of your kitchen is 150cm plus say 144cm for your bed and frame makes 294cm which means I’ve lost about 18cm! Which is crucial on a van of this size. Any clue to where I’m going wrong would be much appreciated.

  5. Love the tour. We’re doing an l2h2 and you absolutely have to be smart with space. This is one of the better layouts I’ve seen and your finishing is spot on. Where did you get the electromagnetically, that’s such a clever idea. I’m not that far yet but have bought regular catches like your loo one. Loving the idea of electromagnets though if you don’t mind sharing more about that.

  6. Came across your video log a few months ago. We will be embarking on a similar project next year. If you don’t mind could you give an idea of the budget needed for such a project.

    1. Haha thanks Ian. Ordered the van whilst still at Blatchford but it didn’t arrive until the beginning of the end there. Bit different from sitting behind a computer all day 😂

  7. Hi, watched one of your early videos where you spoke about factory diesel heater, I copied your spec for this and camper van electrical pre wiring pack. Q… any idea how to turn it on? 😂 tried every switch on heater controls with no joy
    Thanks Dave

    1. Hi Dave, if it’s the webasto diesel heater then there’s a little oval shaped control panel to the right of the steering wheel on the dash. There’s a little flame button bottom left. If you press that it starts up. You can change how long it’s on for, default 30 mins.

    1. Thank you. We have a thetford porta potti for emergencies only hidden in the bench seat. And some pee pots 😂

  8. Totally inspired having watched your videos, level of detail and thought is amazing will be using some of your ideas as and when I make a start on my conversion apart from the £600 worktop ouch.

    1. Thank you glad you’ve got some inspiration from it. The worktop wasn’t quite that much but well worth it 😊

  9. Hi, I really love your build guys! I’m just curious how far it is from the back doors to the front seats. I’m split between a L2 and a L3 and can’t find the inside measurement. Thank you and keep up the great vids!
