  1. no coin but 1990 i went on a tourist goldfinding trip in northern california. it was 60 $ for a 5 hour afternoon. that was a lot of money for me back then.i found about 0.1 gramm of gold.value maybe 5 $.but it was fun and it means a lot to me. i can say i found gold with my one hands.

    1. I can relate. I’ve panned for gold with my kids. It’s never covered my hourly rate, but it’s always been fun. Cheers!

  2. Just curious, do you keep the packaging from your high relief US mint coins or do you toss the packing to clear up more space?

  3. Accidentally read the price wrong on my first gold eagle. It was a 2021 type 1 and the premium was $100 more than I thought it was. Paid $1990 instead of the $1890 I thought it was. Realized my mistake about 3 minutes after clicking the purchase button when I saw the confirmation email. Oh well, it’s an eagle and I like it.

  4. Talking about “Worst Gold Coin You’ve Ever Bought” reminds me of a joke:

1st guy: How did your BIG date go last night?

2nd guy: Well, I had the worst sex I ever had in my life!

    1st guy: That bad, eh?

2nd guy: No, it was fantastic!

  5. Ufff almost just got scammed on TikTok yesterday. Too good to be true deal and the seller portrayed himself as a legit coin store in NYC. After giving me his Venmo that was personal, not business, as well as trouble navigating the English language, I opted to call his “store” the next day, but he nevertheless insisted that I pay now (another red flag). The store acknowledged it was a scam and that they didn’t have a TikTok channel, etc. So many bad actors out there in this industry. Brazen.

My worst purchase, however, was shipwreck gold. Probably paid 200% over value for a 1787 gold piece, in part because I have a shipwreck theme in one of the rooms in my home, and this framed coin with the COA and shipwreck story was a great addition to the cave. Don’t think I’ll ever get that money out of it in the future, unless I suppose I can sucker some other shipwreck theme dude into buying it. Nah, I’ll keep it. It’ll go from a thousand feet under the sea to 6 feet under ground.

    1. @2 is 1 touché! Just keeping up with my young adult children who think they are the “next big thing” 🤷‍♂️

  6. Well I started out with a few 1 gram gold rounds and bars. To get my feet wet so to speak. I kind of wish I had just gone ahead and gotten a whole 1 ounce coin and gotten it over with lol, I didn’t really even realize at the time that I was paying such a high premium comparatively for those little dudes. But anyway they are still pretty 🙂

  7. So far my worst was a gold buffalo from SD that has some rim imperfections. After that I started going to my lcs and buying coins that I can inspect first and I’ve been doing it that way ever since.

  8. Late one night after a few drinks I was looking online and bought a maid Marion coin because it was a little cheaper than the rest, the next morning I begged the online dealer to let me return it, reminded me of my early 20s , bad decisions involving strange women 😮

  9. My biggest mistake ,,not buying enough shield back sovereign,s ,, always goes up even when gold goes down ,,,👍

  10. Awesome video. Great channel that helped me on my journey. Thank you! I love the way you had the coins turning around. Care to share how you did that?
