  1. Did I just hear you say Teachable? So if you made a list for top 5 WordPress eCommerce plugins, you will include Shopify?

    1. If we feel it has a good enough integration for those looking to use it, yes 🙂

    2. @Serial Solopreneur A lot of pro bloggers / influencers use WordPress for their main website and then sell courses via Teachable or Thinkific. It just depends on their personal preference and team’s requirements.

    3. @WPBeginner – WordPress Tutorials When I take the time to view a video called “WordPress Membership Plugins Compared”, I’d like to see “WordPress Plugins”, not a WordPress alternative called Teachable. Very strange that you have 200 likes when your title is deceptive.

  2. Can I have the blurred text revealed only to members, only after a form is submitted ( please suggest me a plugin )

    1. @WPBeginner – WordPress Tutorials Thank you for the quick reply. Instead of filling form. I need to get paid by the viewers. Once paid they can continue. I need such plugin.
      Help me

  3. Thank you for your informative video. Do you have any good plugin to manage community members, where we can add a family account, for example, Dad sign up, add his wife and 3 kids [a family profile], recurring membership payment options, reminders etc?

    Thank you

    1. Not at the moment but we would recommend reaching out to the support for some of these plugins and some may be working on the ability to do what you’re wanting.

  4. I have a question. I would like to create a website with WordPress, but I don’t know if what I intend to do is possible with WordPress. I would like to offer assets I have created myself and not sell them individually, but rather I would like to offer the user access to this “page” / “category” via membership that he pays. The detail of the whole should be that the user has different membership categories. For example: Bronze – 5 downloads per day. Silver 10 downloads per day. Gold 20 downloads per day.
All the assets that are available for download would then be in a department / on a specific page for which you need a membership to access it. Is it possible to set the membership with WordPress?

Access to the premium site for a week or a month.

or access with 3 downloads per day on the premium page.

or access with an infinite number of lifetime downloads on the premium page.

    is that possible ? : /

    1. While possible, we do not have a specific method for setting it up at the moment. You may need developer assistance to create that specific setup.

  5. Can anyone answer this:

I am planning to create a member portal for real estate website:

    1. They can upload their documents (picture format, jpeg)
    2. Pay to reserve a condo unit (like $1000 and now your unit is reserved)

    Nothing fancy !

    Thanks

  6. I have an 11 year old membership site that is at the end of its use. Plugins are dead, authors vanished etc… this site generates about 50k a year for me. Looking for a simple setup that will have longevity.

    1. @WPBeginner – WordPress Tutorials I already have an 11 year old membership site. I’m looking for a long term software solution. So many fly by night plugin authors that abandon there projects, then I am stuck with 1000s of paying members and out of date plugins. One php update and its broken

  7. Great video! Quick question, which plugin allows third party login using API? I have a third party membership database and would like to enable these members to login WordPress and use one of these membership plugins.

    1. It would depend on the third party tool you are using, we would recommend reaching out to the plugin’s support and they should be able to let you know if they have a connection method you can use.
