As now indebted to you, some advice, no fiat currency ( not guaranteed by gold), like our dollars ( green paper with dead presidents on them) today, has ever survived. None. What most do not want to imagine, getting out on that last jet plane, with a lot of that green paper on the ground blowing around, as it is now meaningless, as only gold will get you and yours out, is that sound in the distance ” is automatic weapons gunfire” . American gold coins are horsehit garbage. The purity is typical US garbage. Canadian Maple 🍁 is more pure and you Don it want some govt putting a price onto your coin. That’s just goofy as fuck. Do not by this American garbage as it’s not pure.
Gold rounds do not pay as much as US Gold bullion coins

My sister worked at a grocery store that had a coin exchange machine they had to empty every night and she found a 1930s 5 dollar gold piece asked her boss what to do with it and she said if you want it put 5 dollars cash in and take it home so we don’t have to deal with it

Oh boy. So the easiest way is go to the US mint. The buffalo coin is purest so that has the best “value”. You should always buy proof!! The buffalo if you bought the first year and sent out for grading almost doubled in value. So there is a numismatic value. Most American people do not care about other countries coins! Buy what you can afford from the US mint directly. Purchase proof and keep in case.
A proof coin from the US Mint will come at a 50% premium. A local coin shop will buy it from you for 1 or 2% premium. You might get lucky and find a private buyer to recoup your original premium but it isn’t easy. Your mileage may vary.

I am concerned….I have been stacking silver and gold before covid…Now I understand that the government can find us and retrieve our metals if we’re into hyper inflation or when they introduce the digital dollar….If we buy from bullion dealers there’s a trace….if we buy with cash under $5k there’s no trace…my 401k is in metals…
Should I liquidate my 401k for personal delivery? My local dealer told me I can’t buy 2 Gold Krugerrand weekly, but 1 per month with cash..but I can buy any amount online or with check?
