  1. Great video sir- How does it compare to a high spec Malibu in terms of quality. They appear similar. The Malibu has a diesel heater, 2 batteries etc

    1. I think the quality is comparable. I prefer diesel heating in a ‘van like this (optional on the Pilote?) and second battery (or lithium) is a good idea. Have a look at Dreamer, too

  2. Great review Peter, is there a tv bracket or somewhere to add one, also is it possible to add a factory fitted microwave.

    1. There is definitely a TV station – behind the half-dinette bench, I think. Not sure about a microwave – I doubt it – but you can have a version with a bigger fridge and a gas oven

    1. Are you referring to the badge on the grille? I think it’s because Fiat is not seen as very premium when you’re selling a vehicle at £60,000+

    2. They would get sue in the States. Never seen that. Odd that the Manufacturer allows it. Fiat is well respected in the Americas, it is after all a European brand.

  3. Get rid of the 2 rear seats, make the shower room a bit bigger and make the wardrobe bigger, there I’ve fixed it.

    1. Pilote does offer a model without the rear seats but I’d worry about the resale value, with only the cab seats to sit in and no possibility of carrying more than one passenger

    2. @MotorhomeCampervan Having only 2 seats sounds perfect to me, only the wife and I could go, leave the kids behind, what a shame.

  4. I have just been to the Pilote website and this van starts at £62.500 without the extras. I thought I’d found a real rival to the Adri vans.

    1. Prices are rising all the time and this ‘van was filmed over a year ago. However, it is worth considering against the Adria models. Have a look at Dreamer, too.
