Living in a Campervan is hard and in this video we have another problem. After a fly infestation and a mouse getting in the van, we have another problem that forced us out of the van again. In this video, we explore South Dakota on our US campervan road trip. We visit Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Wind Cave National Park & the Mammoth Site which were all fun in their own right but we, unfortunately, reached the breaking point. 1. Some perspective please. People are suffering or dying around the world, and you are crying over a mouse.

  2. Alex must have crumbs in every crevice. Get some peppermint oil to sprinkle around/on your wheels when you park up at campgrounds…they don’t like it.

  3. Emma – I definitely get it! We have lived in my grandparents’ house for 5 years and we have mice! Every now and again, it seems they’re gone. Then, when there are no mice we have gnats and there’s no reason for it.

  4. Also… I am a US born citizen and y’all have been to more places than I have.
Make your way to Tennessee and go to The Great Smokey Mountains in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and drive along Roaring Fork and do all the ‘stuff’.

  5. Hopefully you will get your break soon!!! I wished you had gone to the Mount Rushmore evening program. It honors our military veterans and is a very patriotic and moving program.

  6. Mouse poo is undesirable in any location, but in a confined space makes it worse.
Must be one of those retrograde Freddy Mercurys.
    A plague of locusts 😆
You definitely got a very cool looking van for sure.

  7. What campground was that near Mt Rushmore that you showed. Looks nice and appeared to have electric? I’m planning a trip there in 2023 and am looking for recommendations where to camp in my van. 😊

  8. I’m glad you were able to come to my home state of South Dakota to see our wildlife on the western side. If you really want to see buffalo in action you need to return around in September for the Buffalo roundup. This is where the buffalo are migrated through the park early in the morning to their winter home. To see a sea of buffalo running into the land is amazing. There is also a roundup festival with vendors and music. Check it out on YouTube!
