We’ve moved to Phuket, Thailand and unfortunately we got food poisoning and have been sick. With a combination of bad weather and getting sick we’re having a rough start in Phuket. In this video we’re finally getting out again after being sick for awhile and staying home from food poisoning. We head to Yanui Beach in Rawai (the town we’re staying). We take a walk along the beautiful beach and eventually head up the road to Cape Phrom Thep where there are some shrines and monuments. Later we head back to our apartment and the rooftop pool at our building (a full apartment tour was in the last video). #PhuketThailand #RawaiPhuket #expatsThailand #foodpoisoning #phuket #thailand 0:00 Worst Travel Nightmare 1:53 Yanui Beach Rawai 3:32 Anna’s Disease 3:58 Phuket Beaches! 6:23 Drinks & Vibe 7:30 Walking vs Scooters 8:53 Cape Phrom Thep 11:33 Back at Our Apartment 13:22 Drinking straight Ginger 14:58 Realities of Travel 16:11 Wrap Up ———- ► SUPPORT US All and any support we receive helps us to travel more and upgrade our camera gear- meaning it helps us to create more and better quality content. ○ Become a Channel Member: https://www.youtube.com/delightfultravellers/join ○ Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/delightfultravellers ○ PayPal (Tip Jar): https://paypal.me/delightfultravellers ○ Sign up for AirBnB (Save up to $40 ): https://bit.ly/2L7unjD ○ Book hotels through Booking.com: https://booki.ng/2VBaKaa ———- ► SHOP OUR STORE Get your very own Delightful Travellers merch!: https://teespring.com/stores/delightful-travellers ———- ► SUBSCRIBE! – http://bit.ly/1M4etCO ———- ► FOLLOW US ○ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/delightfultravellers/ ○ Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/deltravellers ○ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/delightfultravellers/ ○ Newsletter: https://bit.ly/2QgKRbK ○ Website: https://www.delightfultravellers.com ———- ► GET MUSIC FOR YOUR VIDEOS ○ Epidemic Sound (30 day free trial): https://www.epidemicsound.com/referral/ucwehk/ ———- ► OUR GEAR ○ Store: https://amzn.to/2ArrQ1l ○ Main Camera: https://amzn.to/2MSGH9S ○ Secondary Camera: https://amzn.to/2L11lnv ○ Tripod: https://amzn.to/2Uo7fDc ○ Drone: https://amzn.to/2E8y6NT ○ Go Pro: https://amzn.to/2UwauJ4 ○ Hard Drive: https://amzn.to/2VpVQU7 ○ SD Card: https://amzn.to/2CMk2Zp ○ Charger: https://amzn.to/2s7ese6 ———- ► ABOUT US A little bit of luxury, a little bit of budget, a whole lot of travel! 2. Some food vendors do get creative with meat they should already be throwing away…it can be like roulette sometimes lol

  3. We are behind on videos!!
Thank you for sticking it out and showing us around, we know you were really feeling terrible!!!! I know you wish that ginger drink was a craft beer! Great video guys ~Cara 🥰

  4. Food poisoning sucks. Glad you’re on the mend. You guys are hilarious though. Really keeping things real! Just remember to hydrate. Eat soup or just broth until you feel better. Remember you body can survive for days without food, but not without water.

  5. Weren’t you guys supposed to stay in Greece for 3 months..
I must’ve missed a video saying you guys were moving again lol..
Love your insights on all aspects of your stays

  6. Never really a fan of Phuket to be honest , especially around the Patong Area , maybe the rest is nice , ive done the James bond Island tour which was great , but felt it was too much hussle in Patong . granted id love to see the freedom beach and a few places …. maybe next time ill give it a go

  7. Your in a country that does not have a clue about hygiene. For example the toilet brush is also used to clean the sink and shower area in many places. Street seller takes a pee break in a bucket at his stall then serves up food to the next customer , hand washing what’s that ?

  8. I am American living in Thailand, I stay away from street food personally and research any place I eat before going. Charcoal pills help. Sorry to hear you got sick. If on the road I only use cars never motor bikes. Just safer.

  9. Hi Guys, Stumbled upon your channel by accident, Nice videos. I’ve been living in Thailand for close to 20 years now, and the moment i heard you got food poisoning i couldn’t help but grin a bit…. It’s quite common and i get it once or twice a year…. ranging from bad kebab to spoiled fish, it’s one of the things you will get used to, and will kind of grow resistance to….
When i heard you say PIZZA place, i recognized it. I get it EVERY time i eat pizza as soon as there’s mushrooms on them….. and it’s pretty instant, 3-4 hours after consuming it….. So… where there mushrooms on your pizza? if so, try avoid them next time….
I’m a bit thrown off by the title of this video and the text “This Sucks!”. Worst Nightmares come true… I expected tood poisoning, broken legs from accidents, robberies and burglaries and lots of other things. So all you got was food poisoning? If that’s the worst travel nightmare come true you’re gonna be in for a hell of a ride…..
Anyway, just wanted to leave you guys a quick comment and wish you good luck!

    1. Thanks Bert and welcome aboard. There’s was no mushrooms on the pizza haha. We’re pretty sure it was the salad but either way we are feeling better now! It was a bad one though – Trevor

  10. Well that is breaking news. I’m very surprised people haven’t died . You look like you need some weight management.

  11. I was in Thailand for three weeks and just left Phuket a few days ago. The weather as you described was unusually rainy and overcast. Not a lot to do in a place like Koh Samui when the weather is bad. You should check out Maybell’s Coffee Garden they are not far from where you are staying and serve the best breakfast in Phuket. They are also vloggers. I was afraid of getting sick on this trip and for the first time in my life took the flu shot. Fortunately I did not have stomach issues. I highly recommend the scuba diving. I am 65 have not scuba dived in 40 years and had no issues.
