We need to ask that question, does colour theory actually make your graphic designs better, or is it utterly useless? As a graphic designer, we need to take colour seriously and try to apply it to our designs. If you’re a logo designer, a Ui or Ux designer, or just a general graphic designer, colour and colour theory should be something you need to take seriously and try to apply to your work. However, colour theory is a bit more advanced than people tend to think. It isn’t so black and white (pun unintended). Hopefully by the end of todays Satori Graphics video, you will better understand colour theory and design theory, and can then apply it to your graphics and workflow. If you found todays video about colour theory making your designs better enjoyable or useful, let me know in the comments section and drop a like on your way out. 1. Hey, Are you having any second channel with name telegram because I got the message for giveaway from it.

    2. I’ve heard that word spanner I believe first in Star Wars though Han Solo asked for a hydro spanner so that may be some sci fi invention. Then later in the online game World of Warcraft. The inventive Goblins and Gnomes use Spanners. This is from the internet, and I can’t say for certain how arcuate it is, and yet I don’t think it clarified to me as to why they exactly called it that unless it’s like for spin? I heard it can mean stretcher, roughly.
‘Spanner’ came into use in the 1630s, referring to the tool for winding the spring of a wheel-lock firearm. From German Spanner (n.), from spannen

    3. @ajay shankar That’s a scam. I do not message anybody about promotions or giveaways in the comment section

    4. @Artistan yellow or gold because that’s associated with bees.. pair it with blue, yellow and blue is timeless

    1. The best one I have seen is by Joanna Kustra, she has a great video going into amazing detail, the video is named “Secrets of color-grading in photography”

  1. 21% means NOTHING if it doesn’t show the same demographic, traffic same readers/customers, if they are different, location etc……. The blog doesn’t state anything about different days, how much traffic per day etc…. it only says “We ran the test over a few days of traffic.” This is NOT a reliable source of clicks. A few days of traffic is not a valid measure of research to come to a conclusion to assume long term results.

You have given mediocre data in your video and you state it as a “fact” to tell your story on colour theory.

By all means, you have good points but your research lacks and this video is not advance by any means, this is quite basic knowledge if someone takes up a colour theory class.

  2. The Color Theory is also Personality dependent a part from age factor…The Magazine cover has a chic ,understated sophistication with the white and the cool grey title … I liked the dark red lipstick and the kohl smudged ages which give the image bold accents…

  3. Hello i have been following your channel for 3 years. I am running my own small office of graphic designing and working with offline clients but i am not getting enough money. So i just wanted to know if i should stick to it or start freelancing via upwork / Fiverr. Any help will be much appreciated ๐Ÿ‘

    1. Hi there.
If you have a portfolio then you can try UpWork yeah. However there are many things you can do, also look into ‘passive income with design skills’.

  4. Very nicely done video however this is not exactly an “advanced” theory. This is a basic color theory we studied as an intro at the academy in our first semester. Advanced color theory gets more into subjects like clustering colors without blending, changing perceivable quality of a color by neighboring colors, creating the illusion of shape and manipulating peripheral vision to change focus etc. Maybe different institutions follow different programs.

  5. Not a graphic designer but I’m always mindful and picky in colors in highlighting cells in Excel. I always those pastel colors cos yea, they are calming to eyes instead of just the default bright yellow.

  6. I can look at Red. But put me in a room painted Red, Iโ€™m heightened alright. Color does make a difference
