See this right here is why I feel chess has lost some of it’s value. Back in the day it was all about creativity, not very much studying and theory, memorization as it is now. Not saying chess now is all memory and no skill, no i’m saying its even more skill, just not the same game. the amount that we have gone to find ways to win chess more efficiently i feel has taken alot away from the game.

From the picture for the vid I figured out why it’s was so good, if the queen takes, fork WhT the knight, if either pawn takes, say h pawn then you checkmate with knight and if f pawn then check with knight, take the rook mate
