Lovely coin. Not dropped yet with dealers? RM have it but at a premium as always. I was hoping it would be available elsewhere.
Better series than Queen beasts
What was the name of the bullion again? I may need to add a coin to my stack 🙏🏼
Love the Yale got the 1oz😊
I love the Tudor Beasts series of gold coins. I already have the Lion and Yale in the quarter ounce size.
Forget these coins gold is gold. Stick to the low premium coins- Britannia
Interesting take and I mainly agree. Depends on someone’s reason for buying. If collecting then you’ll want a mix of designs. If it’s just a hedge against inflation or for a diverse portfolio then yeah Britannias
Why do you buy from a dealer and not directly from the Mint? The UK Mint has an online shop.
It’s kind of suck that Living in Denmark can;t buy gold from UK , i have to pay for a queen beast 3k euro and on atkinsons is 1700 pounds
I have very recently started buying from the Royal Mint. Taking my chances on the quality of the coins as returning them from Australia would be quite an annoyance. Saying that, in a short amount of time I have spend more than next years budget just at the Royal mint. I have been watching your videos on the Tudor Beasts series and find the coins stunning, but I am more mezmeries by your passion for this series of coins. It makes me feel there is something magical about them that others can’t see.
The ” to the mooners ” that also say CGT won’t affect them make chuckles. If PMs do go to numbers they so happily spout off , selling just one sovereign would cause a CGT liability .
Except it wouldn’t, as Sovereigns are CGT exempt anyway
@Stg2077 yeah I meant even a small coin sovereign size would be over CGT if it goes to the levels the loons say. I should have just said 1/4oz ( before you correct that too I know a sovereign is just less than 1/4 Oz)
UK government has said they may reduce capital gains tax to next to nothing so even if it won’t affect you now it probably will do in the future.
Hot soup for you! Take care
I’ve got two of the 1/4 lions and just waiting for Atkinsons to stock the Yale. I agree, they’re a lovely bullion coin
What do you think of the 1/4 ounce Lunar Year of the Rabbit please? It has a limited mintage of 388.
After some research I think a truly special bullion RTB coin will be included in the later part of the set with the late queens effigy on. King Charles’ effigy will feature on the third coin and most though? Just guessing and imagining
