Now that the substance will be readily available to the public, the health debate is back on the table. 4. @scotty prince it actually does slow you down. it’s true that your brain lights up in MRIs during use cause of increased blood flow, but it starts to ignore those areas of the brain because it’s β€˜too much chemical’. That’s when you get what’s called β€˜burnouts’. It’s not the miracle substance people claim it is since it’s been legalized. Look up the coronary disease associated. It’s as damaging as the rest of them, it just does it slower and more quietly.

    5. @scotty prince STFU. You’re the dummy, who makes any excuse to feel better about being dependent on marijuana

  1. Can you actually get a heart attack from it, my heart rate spikes every time so I’m worried now I might get a heart attack one time, I’m pretty young and only 19 so I have no heart problems

    1. I’ve taken edibles before that took my heart rate through the roof. My Apple Watch is give me heart rate warnings, but I never felt terrible or like something was wrong. I haven’t heard of someone having heart attack and I know a lot of people who smoke daily

    1. You mean dumb right? Ironic a weed user is correcting you on that lol whose the dumb one now 😹

  2. Organic marijuana is not what’s dangerous it’s what they laced in the marijuana or put on the marijuana that is dangerous and causes heavy addiction and schizophrenic paranoia

  3. Whoever said it does or doesn’t affect education, that is fu***** stupid. I say this because it depends on the person and how they are using. If they smoke while they learn and are at school, college, uni… etc. then they will have a harder time learning, that is obvious. If they don’t smoke at school or use it every now and then, they would be less likely to have trouble studying; but, if they get nervous easily, or are depressed, then they may also not do well on the test. There are always factors to a persons wellbeing and accuracy in tests. I for one could get high out of my mind, and perfectly comprehend an hour and thirty minute discussion while engaging in class and speaking. (Granted my speech would not sound as formatted, or as steady as if when I weren’t high) I have done it before, and could do it again. I do find that things I learn when I am not high are easier to remember, but I will study more if I have a lesser understanding, even if I’m not high.

I guess it just depends on work ethic πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

This is a very broad spectrum, and would be needed to look into further to have a somewhat reasonable backed-by-science answer.

  4. Lots of people smoke it because it makes them more “artistic.” But know not one of them that ever made it. I don’t see sincerely if it will improve one’s situation in life.
Drinking or smoking grass will not benefit a family if a parent(s) smokes. The person will be there physically but not mentally.
I don’t sincerely if top level people in profession when asked how they managed to get there say, “Oh, that’s easy. I smoke a couple of joints every day.”

    4. @Saint Man I have not seen that.
Again, I don’t believe that a top notch lawyer, business executive, fabulous father or mother, when asked what’s the secret to their success in these fields that not one, will say,
“Oh, that’s easy to answer. I smoke a joint every evening.”
But I do know of parents doing it and the results are a catastrophy.
I also believe that you’re trying to fool yourself into believing something that is not true.
Being over 70 I’ve seen marijuana act as a gate way drug to addictive drugs.

  6. There is some evidence that marijuana can help manage the pain and muscle cramps associated with multiple sclerosis (MS) and reduce a patient’s dependence on prescription drugs that can have potential side effects. However, it is important to remember that marijuana has its side effects. There are also promising studies of marijuana’s role in relieving chronic pain in people with spinal cord injuries, cancer, and migraines.

  8. I always used to say weed isn’t addicting but today Is the first time I have to admit I have waisted money on weed the same amount that a druggie would buy meth or some. not one day have I stopped smoking. Us stoners say it’s healthy to justify it being a drug. And I know ima get the 16 year old kid that comments saying I’m wrong. But I was once you.
