   People might say that the cyberpunk genre is dead because “We’re already living in it”.

   But that’s the thing. We’ve always lived in it. It was never about how accurate the tech was, or about “getting it right” when it comes to a prediction of the future.

   The stories are all ultimately about the people of our world, not about being an “accurate” dystopian prediction of it.
