When was a child, we were watching a documentary about vaccines in Third World countries. The doctors and nurses would explain the worst problem was that people were afraid of it turning their souls to something they did not want or other non-sense. Despite the availability of vaccines through donations, many refused to allow their children to be vaccinated.
My father commented: “It is really sad people in those poor countries can be so ignorant.”
I miss my father a lot. But I feel it is better he is not around to see what out own society has become. I guess we confused ownership of iPhones and houses with A/C and cars with not being superstitious, believing in witchcraft, and all other nonsense.

The soldiers brought home from Afghanistan. I was in NYC in June I’m midtown. I have polio symptoms I also live outside Detroit in Oakland county and they have found it here.
